This site is a companion to Dr. Scott Sunquist’s and Dr. Dale Irwin’s two volume history of Christianity. Their work is unique in that it specifically covers the growth of the Church across the whole globe and not just particular regions (such as many other Church Histories that really only cover Europe and North America). This site has many user friendly options, such as a Flash-based timeline that can quickly put Church history into perspective or a glossary of Church history terms and people.

The Kuyperian worldview is a form of Calvinism that focuses on the redemption of all things. It holds to a worldview that tells the Christian story of Creation, Fall, Redemption, Consummation. We are in the chapter of the story called “redemption,” and therefore are called to fulfill that portion of the Lord’s Prayer that says, “Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”
